Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Power Shark (ranked 2351 p4p, 62 weight class) and Machiavelli Vecellio (ranked 960 p4p, 47 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shark throws a right hand that Vecellio ducks under and follows up with a left that Vecellio also avoids with ease.

We've been informed that Vecellio has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
A big left from Vecellio misses.
Vecellio throws a hook but Shark blocks it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Shark definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Shark might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Shark is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Vecellio is controlling him.

Vecellio wanted to stand there but Shark had control of the position.

Vecellio throws out a counter right but Shark avoids it with no problem.
Shark throws a sloppy head kick and Vecellio moves out of range easily.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Vecellio wants to clinch up but Shark keeps it at a distance.

Vecellio lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Vecellio and Shark are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Vecellio throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Shark into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Vecellio knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Machiavelli Vecellio!
A very excited looking Machiavelli Vecellio made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Power Shark was interviewed post fight and said 'Bullshit!'.
