Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Koji Ueno (ranked 3884 p4p, 332 weight class) and Tyron Lee Davis Jr (ranked 4579 p4p, 365 weight class). Davis Jr comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Wavy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ueno misses with a body shot.
Ueno fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Davis Jr.
Nice takedown defense from Ueno. No joy for Davis Jr on that attempt.
Davis Jr gets a double leg takedown into Ueno's guard.
Davis Jr throws a big elbow that misses.
Ueno wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Davis Jr manages to pass to side control.
Ueno knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Davis Jr on the ground.
Davis Jr landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Davis Jr is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Ueno is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
