Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Panca Pandu (ranked 6631 p4p, 523 weight class) and Sal Iva (ranked 4141 p4p, 432 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Panca Pandu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sal Iva! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Iva blocks a head kick by Pandu.
Iva throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. The fight moves into the clinch position. Pandu's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Pandu is pressed up against the cage. Iva has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Pandu down to the mat. Pandu avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Pandu throws a sloppy head kick so Iva counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Iva forces his way into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Iva is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Pandu has managed to free his arm - good work. Pandu is in trouble now - Iva has advanced to mount! Iva takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pandu prevents Iva from taking his back. Pandu is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Pandu definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Iva is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Pandu has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Pandu! Iva trying to control the position here. Iva is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Pandu knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Iva on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Iva has control of Pandu's left arm, preventing Pandu from doing any damage. Iva's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Iva looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Iva is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Pandu is aware though and is defending well. Iva controlling Pandu's posture. Iva working for a triangle but Pandu defends it easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Iva keeping moving, preventing Pandu from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Iva is pulling down on Pandu's head. It's preventing any offense from Pandu, at least for the moment. Iva lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Iva is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. More stalling from Iva. Iva works a leg free and moves into half guard. Iva with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. It looks like Iva might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pandu trying to control from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sal Iva dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Iva misses with a head kick.
A little feinted left hand from Pandu on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Iva takes a head kick and keeps coming.
A head kick misses from Pandu. Iva blocks a head kick by Pandu.
Pandu buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Pandu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Iva has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Iva closes the distance and pushes Pandu back into the cage. A short right hand to the side of the head by Iva. Iva tries for a takedown but Pandu manages to get underhooks.
Pandu is trying to push Iva away but Iva has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Pandu is trying to stall.
Iva looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A frustrated look appears on Pandu's face as he tries to break the clinch. Iva pulls Pandu into guard.
Pandu wants to control from the top but Iva keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Iva controlling Pandu's posture. Iva has his foot on Pandu's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pandu works his way back into a safe position though. Iva working for a triangle but Pandu defends it easily.
Pandu wants to control from the top but Iva keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Iva lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Iva slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Iva cracks Pandu with a solid left hand. Iva stays in close to Pandu's body and controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pandu keeping full guard, as Iva tries to pass. Iva controlling from the top position. Iva stops Pandu from standing up. Iva's corner is telling him to maintain position. Let's hope that Iva has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Iva gets a clinch. Pandu is trying to break the clinch but Iva has him pressed against the cage. Pandu wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Iva has him pressed against the cage. Pandu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Iva has taken the fight to the clinch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Iva has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Pandu is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Iva works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Iva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pandu swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sal Iva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Iva tries to score with a low kick but Pandu moves his leg out of the way. Iva ducks right into an uppercut from Pandu. Sal Iva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Iva gets tackled into the cage by Pandu. Pandu maintains the clinch. Iva has Pandu pressed against the cage, preventing Pandu from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Iva prevents Pandu from breaking the clinch. Pandu wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Pandu is trying to force a seperation but Iva has the dominant position. Pandu wants to break the clinch but can't.
Iva has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Pandu clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Sal Iva has got the better of the ground game so far. You can see the frustration on Pandu's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Iva tightening his grip on Pandu, looking for the choke. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Iva working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Iva looking to break Pandu's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Pandu remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Iva will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Iva has the hooks in. Pandu is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Iva tightening his grip on Pandu, looking for the choke. Pandu is trying to defend against the choke here but Iva has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Iva Tightens the hold and Pandu taps out furiously! Iva displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Sal Iva!
