The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faber is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gueguen sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Gueguen tries to counter with a takedown but Faber is quick to defend against it.
Faber tries to clinch but Gueguen moves away
and Gueguen counters with a nice body shot.
Faber wants to clinch but Gueguen slips to the side
and Gueguen counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Gueguen.
Faber is looking to stand back up but Gueguen counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Faber.
Gueguen prevents Faber from improving his position.
Faber is in trouble now - Gueguen has advanced to mount!
Gueguen mounts Faber! Really nice guard pass there!

Gueguen fails to move to back control.
Gueguen controlling his opponent.
Gueguen working for a guillotine from mount but Faber is in no mood to give up.
Gueguen is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Faber to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Faber shrugs it off.
Gueguen is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Faber is surviving well by controlling Gueguen's body position as best he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gueguen is working for a guillotine from mount but Faber frees his head quite easily.
Faber has given up his back.
Gueguen is working for a rear naked choke. Faber is not defending it well and Gueguen has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Faber refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Faber's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
