Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Chambers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marc Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawkins has chosen HeadStrong as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Chambers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marc Hawkins! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hawkins throws a head kick that misses. Chambers avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Chambers blocks a head kick by Hawkins.
Hawkins fails to land the takedown. Hawkins shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Chambers drives through with a takedown into guard. Chambers trying to control the position from guard on top but Hawkins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Chambers thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Chambers trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chambers postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hawkins is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Chambers, into his guard. Chambers bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hawkins's guard. Chambers not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Chambers trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Chambers is breathing heavily. Chambers wants to control from the top but Hawkins keeps moving. Chambers thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hawkins keeping full guard, as Chambers tries to pass. Hawkins managing to control the position. Hawkins tries to strike from the bottom.
Hawkins bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Chambers's guard. Hawkins lands a couple of decent looking shots. Hawkins stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chambers swivels though and keeps the full guard. Chambers is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Hawkins frees his head nicely. Oh but Chambers has switched to an armbar! Hawkins is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
