Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Boaler (ranked 1827 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregory Motts (ranked 2269 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tom Boaler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gregory Motts!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Motts throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Boaler on the side of the head.

Motts gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Boaler's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Motts looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Motts lands a hook to the side of the head.
Boaler has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Motts avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Boaler has been working on his balance at Island Sparring, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Motts.
A right hook to the body lands for Motts.
Boaler has Motts pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Motts manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Motts creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Boaler is breathing heavily.

Motts is leaning against Boaler and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Motts works on Boaler's body with a couple of short punches.
Motts lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Motts works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Still in the clinch, Motts scores with a nice short uppercut.
Motts scores with a hook to the body.
Motts lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Motts escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Boaler looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
BOOM! Motts lands a beautiful left hook that drops Boaler. Boaler tries to recover but Motts is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Boaler lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
