The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bee fails with the takedown.
Bee has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Island Sparring in the buildup to the fight.
Killer Bee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bee will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bee tries to clinch but Pardo moves away
letting Pardo counter with a right hand.
Pardo has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Bee shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Pardo counters with a nice body shot.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Killer Bee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bee misses with a takedown attempt
and Pardo counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Bee out cold! What a finish! Pardo is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
