Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnson Mecker (ranked 4117 p4p, 416 weight class) and Aslan Akishev (ranked 4036 p4p, 0 weight class). Mecker comes to the cage accompanied by Ace of Spades. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Johnson Mecker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aslan Akishev! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mecker instigates a clinch. Mecker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Akishev gets tackled into the cage by Mecker. Mecker maintains the clinch. Mecker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mecker closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Mecker breaks the clinch.
Akishev throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Akishev throws a nice head kick!
Akishev buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Mecker works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mecker gets to his feet. Akishev looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Mecker has closed the distance and engaged Akishev in a clinch.
