Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Paul Hunt (ranked 674 p4p, 99 weight class) and Oliver Huang (ranked 1389 p4p, 186 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Helsinki, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 4 losses; Paul Hunt! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 2 losses; Oliver Huang! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Huang shoots in but no luck this time. Hunt changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Huang takes the fight into the clinch. Hunt has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Hunt gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Huang regains guard.

Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Hunt (2) vs (2) Huang The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Hunt looking for a sweep. Not yet Hunt, not yet. Huang trying to control the position from guard on top but Hunt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hunt throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Huang is looking to advance position but Hunt has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Score +4 for clean sweep to past guard: Hunt (6) vs (2) Huang
That's one minute gone in the round. Huang is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Hunt fails to advance to Huang's back. Hunt mounts Huang! Really nice guard pass there! Hunt moves to back control. Score +3 for taking back: Hunt (9) vs (2) Huang Hunt working for the choke. Hunt is looking to control Huang but Huang is wriggling around and keeping busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Good control from Hunt. Hunt controlling well, preventing Huang from escaping the position.
Huang prevents Hunt from getting a body triangle. Hunt is really struggling to control Huang but he's trying to hold on to the position. Hunt keeps control of the position as Huang tries to break free.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunt is looking for the choke from the back position but Huang is controlling his hands well. Hunt tightening his grip on Huang, looking for the choke. Hunt is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Huang is tapping out! This one is all over!
