Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kaz McStafferson (ranked 2384 p4p, 270 weight class) and Middle Weight (ranked 2135 p4p, 248 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McStafferson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Weight swivels and escapes.
McStafferson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
McStafferson falls off balance throwing a combination

and Weight counters by clinching up.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Weight lands a hook that snaps the head of McStafferson backwards.
McStafferson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Weight smiles and moves away.

McStafferson dives in and scores a takedown into Weight's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Weight keeping full guard, as McStafferson tries to pass.
Weight seems keen to control McStafferson's posture.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Weight is on top in guard.
