Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colby Bryant (ranked 2975 p4p, 0 weight class) and TJ Alvarez (ranked 4661 p4p, 437 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, TJ Alvarez!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Bryant misses.
Alvarez throws a right and a left that Bryant avoids nicely.
Sloppy strikes from Alvarez. Those never looked like landing.
Alvarez swings for the body but Bryant moves out of range.
Bryant is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Alvarez throws a right and a left that both miss.
A counter left hand to the body from Bryant misses its target.
Alvarez scores with a one two! Bryant had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Colby Bryant has been cut.
Alvarez slips under a jab.
Bryant fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Alvarez manages to avoid it.
Alvarez is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bryant.
Bryant connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Bryant misses with a looping right.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Alvarez throws a looping overhand right but Bryant ducks down to avoid it.
A combination from Alvarez does no damage.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bryant, as that shot connected.
Bryant misses with a looping left.
Bryant missing with a left hand there. Alvarez was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
The fighters circling - Bryant throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bryant avoids the body shot from Alvarez.

Bryant lands with a right hand.
Bryant showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Alvarez.
Bryant lands a nice hook to Alvarez's body. Alvarez takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bryant. Alvarez does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bryant swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bryant dips to his left and cracks Alvarez with an uppercut!
Bryant digs a good hook to Alvarez's body.
Bryant throws a shot from downtown. Alvarez moves away and avoids it.
Alvarez lands with a nice combination. Bryant backs away looking to recover.
Alvarez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bryant lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Alvarez misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bryant.
Bryant drops Alvarez with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Alvarez looks back up at him and smiles so Bryant waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Alvarez is rocked!
Bryant throws out a loose jab but Alvarez uses good head movement to avoid it.
The fighters circling - Alvarez throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Alvarez throws a series of punches but Bryant moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bryant misses with a hook
and Alvarez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bryant steps in with a hook that catches Alvarez right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Bryant follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Alvarez looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Colby Bryant!
