Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Balink Tarlah! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Conor Butcher! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Lou da Vinci and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Butcher takes the fight into the clinch. Butcher lands a nice uppercut. Butcher lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Butcher stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Butcher works on Tarlah's body with a couple of short punches. A right hook to the body lands for Butcher.
Butcher lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Butcher lands a right hand. Butcher lands a shoulder strike. A nice left hand lands by Butcher.
Butcher lands on the inside with an uppercut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tarlah is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Butcher gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Butcher scores with an uppercut up the middle. Tarlah is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Butcher pulls him back up using the underhooks. Butcher lands with a short head shot on the inside. Butcher prevents a takedown attempt there.
Butcher has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Tarlah seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Butcher can turn it around. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Balink Tarlah. That's going to take a lot out of him. Butcher scores with a nice hook to the head.

That's one minute gone in the round. A short left from Butcher. Oh Tarlah is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Tarlah is looking for a takedown. Butcher dips a shoulder and cracks Tarlah with a mighty uppercut! Tarlah falls back against the cage and Butcher unloads with a barrage of strikes! Tarlah is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Butcher screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
