Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oleg Pidr (ranked 3774 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Petrovski (ranked 4709 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Petrovski shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pidr's guard.
Petrovski controls from within his opponent's guard.
Pidr is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Petrovski is controlling him.
Petrovski is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Petrovski distracts Pidr with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Pidr is looking to stand up but Petrovski isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Petrovski thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pidr wants to get back to his feet but Petrovski is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Petrovski drops back looking for a leg! Pidr is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pidr manages to kick Petrovski off! Petrovski jumps back into Pidr's guard.

Petrovski works over Pidr with some ground and pound from guard.
Petrovski stops Pidr from standing up.
Pidr can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Petrovski controls the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Petrovski is pushing down on Pidr's leg trying to pass to half guard. Pidr is fighting to maintain full guard but Petrovski has managed to sneak the leg through.
Pidr knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Petrovski on the ground.

Petrovski is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Pidr is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
