Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Victor Mordino (ranked 3632 p4p, 387 weight class) and Dalibor Drahomir (ranked 1717 p4p, 0 weight class). Drahomir is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Outspoken. Dalibor Drahomir is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 1 losses; Dalibor Drahomir! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Franklyn Lucas and Lou da Vinci.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Drahomir has managed to clinch.
Drahomir can't get the takedown.
Drahomir has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Mordino avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Drahomir has picked Mordino up - he's going for a ride! Mordino controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Mordino tries to get to full guard but Drahomir has control of the leg. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Still in half guard, Drahomir seems content to control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Mordino is trying to get back to half guard. Mordino is trying to control Drahomir's posture but Drahomir avoids it. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mordino is looking to regain half guard here but Drahomir keeps moving and retains side control. Drahomir moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drahomir working away. Mordino is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Drahomir taking a breather here. Mordino is looking for a sweep.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Drahomir is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Mordino will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Mordino wants to control but Drahomir postures up.
That's six minutes gone in the round. The referee asks Drahomir politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Drahomir prefers to stall for the moment though. Mordino tries to bench press Drahomir off him but Drahomir keeps the position. Drahomir is staying tight to Mordino's torso, preventing him from escaping. You can see the frustration on Mordino's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Mordino is positioning himself to get back to half guard. A bit of a lull in the action. That's nine minutes gone in the round. Drahomir is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Mordino's shoulder. That is not cool. Drahomir's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Mordino is looking for a sweep. Drahomir controls the position.
That's ten minutes gone in the round. Mordino is looking to reverse the position. The referee asks Drahomir politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Drahomir prefers to stall for the moment though. Let's hope that Drahomir has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Drahomir working away.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The adventures of Drahomir the control monster continue. Boring. That's fourteen minutes gone in the round. Mordino is trying to control Drahomir's posture but Drahomir avoids it. Drahomir happy to just control the position for now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mordino tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Drahomir wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Drahomir wins on points by 5 to 0. A relieved looking Dalibor Drahomir thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. |
