The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jiro lands with a hook. Dredd tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Jiro scores with a jab to the body.
Jiro looks to throw the jab but Dredd is out of range.
Jiro thuds a left hand into Dredd's body.
Good standup being displayed there by Jiro as he connects with a hook.
Jiro lands with a nice body punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jiro lands a jab to the head.
Jiro clinches.
Dredd's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Dredd wants a takedown.
Jiro lands with a short shot to the head.
Jiro lands a hook that snaps the head of Dredd backwards.
Jiro works on Dredd's body with a couple of short punches.
Dredd looks winded!
Dredd tries to pull guard but Jiro forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Jiro makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Nice body punch from Jiro - that landed with a thud.

Jiro scores with a shot to the side of Dredd's head.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Jiro.
Jiro manages to break the clinch.
Jiro tests Dredd's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jiro connects with a jab.
Dredd takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jiro lands a big right hand that sends Dredd crashing to the mat! Jiro stays standing though and waves Dredd back to his feet!
It looks like Jake Dredd has been cut.
Jiro steps in with a hook that catches Dredd right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Jiro follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Dredd looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ken Jiro!
An out of breath Ken Jiro thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
