Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ranji Katoor (ranked 2456 p4p, 291 weight class) and Robert Myres (ranked 4108 p4p, 421 weight class). Ranji Katoor could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Robert Myres's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ranji Katoor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robert Myres! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Katoor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Myres tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Katoor makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Katoor circles away from the clinch attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A left lands for Myres. Myres throws a left and a right that both miss
and Katoor cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round. Myres throws a nice looking combination but Katoor bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Myres tries to clinch there but Katoor circles away.
Katoor throws a big counter combination but Myres scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Myres fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Katoor, pushing him back against the cage. Myres tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. With the fighters up against the cage, Myres throws an elbow but misses. Myres misses with some punches.
Katoor breaks the clinch.
Myres throws out a loose jab but Katoor uses good head movement to avoid it. Katoor went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Myres misses with a right hand and Katoor counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Myres looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Myres lands a left and a right that send Katoor crashing to the mat, dazed. Myres thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Myres wants to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Myres throws a combination that misses and Katoor counters with a three punch combo that has Myres backing up. Myres nods at Katoor to acknowledge the strikes. A swing and a miss from Myres. Katoor thinks about countering with a head kick. Myres tries to clinch there but Katoor circles away.
Katoor is looking to counter with head kicks. Myres wants to clinch and Katoor counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Myres is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Katoor is looking for a counter combo. The fighters circling - Myres throws out the jab but it was never going to land. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Katoor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Katoor seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Ranji Katoor is winning the standup battle so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Myres pushes Katoor up against the cage in a clinch.

It looked like Katoor was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Myres misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

This has been an exciting period of action! The fight stays on the outside here - Myres looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Katoor is looking to counter with head kicks.

Myres tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Myres comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Myres throws an elbow that misses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Myres misses with a shot to the kidneys.
A head punch on the inside from Myres fails to land. Katoor blocks a body shot from Myres. Myres digs a right hand into Katoor's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Katoor's gas tank. Katoor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Myres tries to clinch but Katoor moves away and Katoor counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ranji Katoor dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Katoor lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Katoor avoids a wild elbow strike from Myres. Myres lands with a right to the head. Myres swings wildly with an uppercut but Katoor uses good head movement to avoid it.

Katoor lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Katoor blocks an uppercut.
Katoor working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Katoor lands a damaging elbow. Myres lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Katoor backwards. Katoor lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Myres is rocked! A quick uppercut on the inside from Katoor. Myres is still on wobbly legs! Can Katoor finish him? Katoor breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Katoor circles away from the clinch attempt and Katoor counters with a right hand to the body. Myres takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Myres misses with a double jab.
Myres seems to have recovered his senses.

Katoor throws a quick counter head kick but Myres was just out of range. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Myres closes the distance but Katoor moves to the side and Katoor counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Katoor circles away from the clinch attempt.
Katoor is looking for a counter combo. Myres moves in looking to clinch but Katoor pushes him off. Katoor swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. A slow jab from Myres misses its intended target.
And that's the end of the fight! Ranji Katoor showed his dominance in that final round. I think Katoor has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
