The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mckleskin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mckleskin throws a lazy body kick
and Seneca counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Seneca.
Seneca is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Mckleskin can't fight it off and eventually Seneca manages to take the fight to the floor. Mckleskin looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Seneca postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Mckleskin scores with a short punch from the bottom.
Seneca content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Seneca has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
