Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zeru Subramaniam (ranked 5522 p4p, 132 weight class) and Ittai Amram (ranked 5516 p4p, 133 weight class). Ittai Amram is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Zeru Subramaniam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ittai Amram! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Subramaniam scores with a takedown into Amram's guard. Amram is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Subramaniam is controlling him. Subramaniam advances to half guard. Subramaniam content to control rather than advance. Subramaniam's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amram wants to control but Subramaniam is keeping busy and won't allow it. Amram on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Well, if Subramaniam is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Amram is controlling Subramaniam's position as best he can from this difficult position. Subramaniam tries to stand and escape but Amram is controlling the position. Amram trying to control here.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Subramaniam takes the fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Subramaniam breaks from the clinch.
Amram shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Subramaniam as he avoids it easily. Subramaniam manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Amram on his heels. He'll look to pass Amram's guard now, I'm sure. Amram wants to control the position but Subramaniam says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Subramaniam tries to pass to full mount but Amram defends it. Subramaniam trying to control from half guard but Amram is working away. Still in half guard, Subramaniam seems content to control. Amram is trying to get back to full guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Subramaniam wants to lay and pray for a moment but Amram keeps working. Amram has hold of Subramaniam's hands but Subramaniam slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Amram is refusing to be controlled, as Subramaniam sits in half guard. Subramaniam with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Amram is looking to escape. Amram is trying to get back to full guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Subramaniam wants to work for an arm triangle but Amram is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Amram slips a jab from Subramaniam. Subramaniam looking to score a takedown here. Amram is defending well but Subramaniam drives through and ends up in Amram's guard. Amram looking to control.
Amram tries to land a sweep but no joy. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amram is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Subramaniam looking to control the position here, rather than advance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Subramaniam darts in and clinches Amram up against the ropes. Subramaniam turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Subramaniam manages to end up in side control. Subramaniam has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Amram! Subramaniam putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Amram tries to hold on but Subramaniam postures up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Subramaniam is looking to stand but Amram has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.

That's one minute gone in the round. Amram is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Subramaniam looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Subramaniam connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Subramaniam let's go of the attempt for now. Subramaniam avoiding Amram 's attempts to control his hands. Amram is really stuck here.
Subramaniam tries to get the hooks in deep but Amram pushed the leg off. Subramaniam controls the action. Subramaniam is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Amram has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Amram trying to control but not successfully. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Subramaniam looking to break Amram's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Amram remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Subramaniam will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! Zeru Subramaniam dominated that second round. That's time! Subramaniam's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Amram throws a wild body kick that Subramaniam sees coming a mile off. Amram shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Subramaniam as he avoids it easily. Subramaniam stuffs the takedown attempt from Amram. Amram gets slowly back to his feet. A momentary lapse in concentration from Amram enables Subramaniam to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Amram manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Amram can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Subramaniam controls the pace. Subramaniam is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Amram can do to turn this around? Amram has a closed guard, preventing Subramaniam from standing up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amram avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Subramaniam is looking to stand up but Amram won't let him.

Subramaniam tries to stand but Amram is controlling his head. Amram seems a little lost for a moment, as Subramaniam dominates the positioning. Subramaniam wants to stand but Amram is controlling his arm. Amram on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Subramaniam working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Amram tries to bench press Subramaniam off him but Subramaniam keeps the position. Zeru Subramaniam overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Subramaniam tries to stand but Amram is controlling his head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Subramaniam is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Amram knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Subramaniam slows the pace down. Amram is not content to let Subramaniam control the position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. The referee asks Subramaniam politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Subramaniam prefers to stall for the moment though.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Amram stuffs the takedown. Amram shoots in looking for a takedown but Subramaniam manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Amram's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. A counter left hand to the body from Subramaniam misses its target. Zeru Subramaniam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ittai Amram. Amram wants to clinch up but Subramaniam keeps it at a distance. Zeru Subramaniam is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Subramaniam bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Subramaniam wants to lay and pray for a moment but Amram keeps working. Subramaniam tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Amram struggling a bit here. Amram gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Amram takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Subramaniam seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Subramaniam will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Amram is staying active underneath Subramaniam, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Subramaniam is looking for a kimura but Amram is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Subramaniam to get the leverage. Subramaniam is taking a breather. Amram says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Subramaniam closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Subramaniam lands in his opponent's guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amram not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Zeru Subramaniam showed his dominance in that final round. Well Subramaniam has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
