Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Urwifs Othrguy (ranked 2990 p4p, 278 weight class) and Philip Darly (ranked 5908 p4p, 418 weight class). Darly has chosen Sympathy for the devil-Rolling Stones as his entrance music. Urwifs Othrguy could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Philip Darly's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darly throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Othrguy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Darly circles away.
Othrguy feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Darly sprawling to the canvas! Darly rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Othrguy finish him?!
It looks like Philip Darly has been cut.
Othrguy throws a body kick that misses.
Othrguy takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

As Othrguy backs off Darly throws a huge counter combo but Othrguy manages to avoid it all.
Darly misses with a few strikes there.
Othrguy looks to throw the jab but Darly is out of range.
Darly throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Othrguy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Othrguy clinches with his opponent.

Darly's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Darly wants to break free but Othrguy has control.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Othrguy drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Urwifs Othrguy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Othrguy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Darly works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Othrguy scores with a jab.
Darly uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Othrguy has time to react.
Othrguy gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Darly.
Philip Darly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Othrguy slips a jab and a cross from Darly.
Darly misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Darly throws a right hand that Othrguy ducks under and follows up with a left that Othrguy also avoids with ease.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Darly throws a shot to the body.
Darly tries to work over Othrguy's front leg with a kick but Othrguy checks it.
Othrguy closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Darly is rocked!
Othrguy tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Darly is still in real trouble! Can Othrguy finish him?
The strikes coming from Othrguy are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Darly seems to have recovered his senses.

The ground and pound from Othrguy seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Othrguy advances to mount.

Darly tries to improve his position but Othrguy has taken his back! Othrguy has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Darly tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Othrguy pushes Darly away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
