Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stan Pead (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ming Ong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Stan Pead! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ming Ong! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pead fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Ong throws a right and a left that Pead avoids nicely. Pead takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Pead tries to clinch up. Ong circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ong misses with an uppercut. Pead saw that one coming. Pead fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pead tries to clinch but Ong is having none of it. Ong clobbers Pead with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Pead wants to clinch up but Ong keeps it at a distance. Pead tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ong paws at him with a jab and circles away. Pead tries to clinch up but Ong circles away and keeps his distance. Left hook, right uppercut from Ong. Pead bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ong is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Pead misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pead is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ong has escaped the position, nice work there. Pead is looking for a kimura. He might have it! Pead goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Ong is on top in guard.
Ong slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Pead looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Ong passes into half guard.
Ong keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Ong trying to pass the guard but Pead defending well. Pead looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ong working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Ong prevents Pead from improving his position. Ong thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pead's head. Pead is looking to get back to full guard here but Ong has managed to pass to side control instead. Pead is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Ong tries to control but Pead wriggling away. Pead keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Ong controlling from mount. Pead tries to get back to half guard but can't. Ong wants to control the pace but Pead is squirming around nicely. Ong controlling the pace for now. Pead is working to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ming Ong dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Pead moves in looking to clinch but Ong pushes him off. Ong lands with a nice body punch. Ong throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Ong throws a right hand that Pead ducks under and follows up with a left that Pead also avoids with ease. Ong throws a nice looking combination but Pead bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Stan Pead is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ong cracks a nice hook into Pead's ribs. Ong swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Pead. Pead moves in looking to clinch but Ong pushes him off. A combination from Pead does no damage. Ong thumps Pead with a low kick. Ming Ong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Good work by Pead as he checks the leg kick. Ong throws a right hand that Pead ducks under and follows up with a left that Pead also avoids with ease. Ong avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pead keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Donk. Ong catches Pead right on the button with a cross. Ong looks to land a combination but Pead avoids it well. Pead fails with a takedown attempt. A jab from Ong does it's job there. Ong lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Pead is rocked! Ong ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Pead's jaw. Pead's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Ong does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ming Ong!
