The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyubenov paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Yonic feints and as Lyubenov raises his hands in defense, Yonic changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Yonic throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lyubenov works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Lyubenov working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Yonic.
Yonic working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Yonic throwing strikes from guard but Lyubenov blocks nicely.
Yonic with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lyubenov is trying to keep Yonic in close.
Lyubenov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yonic on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yonic throws an elbow that misses. Lyubenov uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Yonic's guard. Nice move by Lyubenov!

Yonic is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Lyubenov frees his head nicely. Oh but Yonic has switched to an armbar! Lyubenov is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
