The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moreno tries to close the distance and clinch but Goldberg swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Goldberg misses with an uppercut. Moreno saw that one coming.
Goldberg takes one to the side of the head.
Goldberg throws a one two combo.
A swing and a miss from Goldberg.
The fighters circling - Moreno throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Moreno tries to land a leg kick but Goldberg saw it coming and moves away.
Moreno has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Doc Dannis Death Squad in the buildup to the fight.
Moreno misses with a shot to the body
and Goldberg counters with a stiff right hand.
Moreno jabs Goldberg to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Moreno throws a right hand that misses
and Goldberg counters with a three punch combo that has Moreno backing up. Moreno nods at Goldberg to acknowledge the strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Moreno lands the left hand.
Moreno throws a nice inside leg kick.
Moreno throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Goldberg misses with a left hand
and Moreno cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Sloppy strikes from Goldberg. Those never looked like landing.
Moreno misses with a body shot.
Moreno takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Moreno jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Goldberg slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Moreno fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Goldberg has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Moreno stuns Goldberg with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Goldberg throws a right and a left that both miss.
Moreno lands a nice shot to the body.
Moreno scores with a jab.
Moreno tries to clinch but Goldberg moves out of range.
Moreno throws a right and a left that both miss.

Moreno throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Goldberg misses with an uppercut.

and Moreno makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Goldberg throws a right hand that Moreno ducks under and follows up with a left that Moreno also avoids with ease.
Jab, jab by Moreno - just one landing.

Oooooh!!! Moreno has knocked Goldberg down with a huge combo! Moreno steps away and waves a wobbly Goldberg back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Bill Goldberg has been cut.
Moreno pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Goldberg lands with a good body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Moreno throws a chopping leg kick but Goldberg manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Moreno lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Goldberg is rocked!
Moreno goes for a small jab and connects. Now Moreno goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Goldberg stumbles back but Moreno runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Goldberg to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Goldberg will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
