Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gus Pappas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Let Ji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ji has chosen Anathema - Judgement as his entrance music. Gus Pappas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ji blocks a leg kick.
Pappas swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pappas fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A telegraphed right hand from Ji misses the target.
Ji misses with a body kick.
Pappas shoots in looking for a takedown. Ji tries to sprawl out of it but Pappas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ji manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Pappas fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Pappas throws a series of punches but Ji avoids them all with ease.

Ji scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Pappas tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ji was well out of range. Poor timing from Pappas.

and Pappas counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ji won't be happy with that.
Pappas remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Pappas wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ji keeps working.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Pappas decides to stand back up. Pappas steps back and let's Ji get back to his feet.

A close second round but Let Ji will probably get the nod - 10:9.

and Ji counters with a low kick, right behind Pappas 's knee.
Ji pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pappas circles away from the clinch attempt.
Let Ji is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
