Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Felix Silva (ranked 952 p4p, 137 weight class) and Robert Robertsson (ranked 1641 p4p, 215 weight class). Felix Silva has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Felix Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Robertsson! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robertsson gets tackled into the cage by Silva. Silva maintains the clinch. Robertsson drags the fight down to the ground.
Silva is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Robertsson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Silva is one step ahead there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silva works a leg free and moves into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva controlling the pace. Silva has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Robertsson gets back to full guard.
Robertsson keeping moving, preventing Silva from controlling successfully. Robertsson wants to sweep here but Silva controlling him for the moment. Silva trying to control the position from guard on top but Robertsson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Silva will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Robertsson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Silva throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Robertsson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Silva doesn't manage to clinch there - Robertsson circles away.
Robertsson tries to counter with a clinch but Silva shakes him off and moves away. Nice cross by Silva. Silva gets a clinch. Silva misses with the head strike.
Silva tries to work over Robertsson's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Robertsson blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Silva throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Robertssons head. Silva misses with a hook from the clinch. Robertsson's coach down at London BALLS OF STEEL was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Robertsson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Silva throws a punch but it's blocked by Robertsson.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva can't find room to land a body shot as Robertsson controls the action.

Robertsson prevents a body shot from Silva. Robertsson has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Silva regains guard immediately. Robertsson is looking to work some ground and pound but Silva has wrist control.

Silva looking to sit in guard and control but Robertsson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Robertsson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Silva is on top in guard.

Robertsson tries to roll over but Silva keeps him under control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva wants to pass the guard but Robertsson is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Silva is looking to take a break and control but Robertsson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Silva moves to clinch but Robertsson breaks away and Robertsson counters with a shoot takedown. Silva fights it but they end up in guard. Robertsson tries to free his leg and advance position but Silva is retaining full guard. Robertsson throws an elbow that misses. Silva uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Robertsson's guard. Nice move by Silva!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Silva won't allow Robertsson to sweep him here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Felix Silva will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Silva is trying to keep an underhook but Robertsson manages to get the takedown into half guard. Robertsson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Silva is looking to control Robertsson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Silva avoid being mounted? Robertsson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Robertsson trying to control the action but Silva is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Robertsson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Robertsson's back! Robertsson is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Felix Silva. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Silva, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
