Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Morrison Lee (ranked 526 p4p, 64 weight class) and Kyle Seehaver (ranked 2245 p4p, 247 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lee might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Pretender. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 4 losses; Morrison Lee! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 4 losses; Kyle Seehaver! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Seehaver shoots in looking for a takedown. Lee tries to sprawl out of it but Seehaver keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Lee manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Seehaver shoots in and drives through. Lee sprawls well. Seehaver changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lee tries to avoid it but Seehaver manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lee to the ground. Lee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Morrison Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyle Seehaver. Seehaver fails with the takedown. Seehaver closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lee circles away. Seehaver tries to sprawl but Lee drives through with a takedown into half guard. Lee won't allow Seehaver to sweep him here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Seehaver keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully. Lee is really struggling to control Seehaver but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Lee is looking to pass the guard... Seehaver has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Seehaver trying to get back to full guard but Lee takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Lee can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Seehaver is looking to escape. Seehaver bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Lee wants to free his trapped foot but Seehaver is holding on for dear life with his legs. Seehaver is looking to control Lee's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Seehaver avoid being mounted? Lee tries to pass to full mount but Seehaver defends it. Lee wants to control but Seehaver is keeping him busy. Lee is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Seehaver doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lee.
