Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Welter Weight (ranked 591 p4p, 86 weight class) and Jesus Sanchez (ranked 1887 p4p, 241 weight class). Weight's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, They say that I'm Crazy. Sanchez has chosen Duele El Carazon as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Weight swivels and escapes.
An attempted straight right counter from Weight misses the target.
Sanchez throws a jab but it's blocked by Weight.
Weight has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Weight throws a right hand that misses
and Sanchez counters with a nice leg kick.
Sanchez shoots for a takedown but Weight saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Weight ducks under a wild hook from Sanchez.
Sanchez thumps Weight with a low kick.
Weight digs a good hook to Sanchez's body.
Sanchez misses with a looping left.
Weight throws a combination that misses
and Sanchez counters with a straight right hand.
Good leg kick by Sanchez there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Weight lands a really nice looking cross but Sanchez seems unphased.
It looks like Jesus Sanchez has been cut.
Weight fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Sanchez moves out of range of the strikes.
It seemed like Sanchez was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Weight throws a lazy right hand but Sanchez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Sanchez shoots in but Weight avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Welter Weight has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesus Sanchez.
Sanchez shoots in for a double leg but Weight sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sanchez gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
A telegraphed right hand from Weight misses the target.
Sanchez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Weight to the mat! Weight manages to get full guard.
Sanchez trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Sanchez throws a big elbow that misses.
Sanchez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Weight swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sanchez throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Weight works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Sanchez's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Weight knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sanchez on the ground.
Sanchez working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Weight managing to control the position.
Sanchez is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Sanchez bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Sanchez closes this distance looking for a takedown but Weight circles away.
Sanchez takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Weight misses with a hook.
Sanchez scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sanchez misses with a takedown attempt
and Weight counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Weight loads up on a big right hand but Sanchez slips the punch.
Weight jabs at Sanchez's body.
Sanchez looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Weight looks to land a left hand but Sanchez moved out of range nicely.
Sanchez looks for a takedown but Weight sprawls well.

Sanchez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Sanchez takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Sanchez takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Weight swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Weight tries to sprawl but Sanchez drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Weight pushes Sanchez off and gets back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Weight throws an overhand right that lands on Sanchez's shoulder, as Sanchez tries to avoid the shot.
Sanchez was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Welter Weight is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sanchez takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Sanchez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Weight scores with a hook to the body. Sanchez takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Weight staying out of range there.

Weight misses with a left hand
and Sanchez cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Weight's corner calls for a 1-2. Weight obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Weight lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Weight throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Sanchez crashing down! Sanchez tries to stagger back to his feet but Weight just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Sanchez asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Welter Weight!
