The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice straight punches there by Mason. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Mason. Mason scores with a body shot.
Lesnar steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mason. Mason displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lesnar throws out the jab. Lesnar throws a jab when Mason was well out of range. Lesnar staying out of range there. Mason misses the shot to the body. Mason throws a lazy right hand but Lesnar sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A slow jab from Mason misses its intended target. Lesnar lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mason circles away quickly and effectively. Mason throws a right and a left that Lesnar avoids nicely. Lesnar scores with a jab to the body. Lesnar throws a right and a left that both miss. The fighters circling - Mason throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Lesnar throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mason thows a left - swing and a miss! Mason looks to land a left hand but Lesnar moved out of range nicely. Lesnar throws a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar drives through with a takedown into guard. Lesnar chips away with some ground and pound. Lesnar trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Mason avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Mason really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lesnar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lesnar's corner is telling him to maintain position. Lesnar digs a good body shot into Mason's ribs. Mason looks gassed! Lesnar slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mason walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Lesnar cracks Mason with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Mason looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Lesnar finish him?
Mason is rocked! Lesnar cracks Mason with a hook to the temple - Mason is on wobbly legs here! Lesnar swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Mason falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Lesnar wins by TKO!
