The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cool gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and DeVell counters with a stiff right hand.
DeVell scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cool is defended easily by DeVell.
DeVell moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

DeVell lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Cool backs up against the cage.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Cool needs to keep his hands up - DeVell had a free shot at his head there.

and DeVell makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

It looked like DeVell was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Big Daddy Cool seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
DeVell lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Cool creates some space and throws a big elbow, but DeVell sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cool cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Cool is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. DeVell can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

DeVell is in a horrible position here. Cool smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

A close second round but Big Daddy Cool will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Cool shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. DeVell is trying to defend but Cool finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Cool shoots in looking for a takedown but DeVell manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cool's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Cool.
DeVell is pressed up against the cage. Cool has hold of a leg and is looking to drag DeVell down to the mat. DeVell avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

DeVell is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Cool can do to turn this around?

DeVell ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Cool feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
DeVell wants to sweep but no luck.
