Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Digi Box (ranked 2018 p4p, 235 weight class) and Chubby Funster (ranked 3393 p4p, 350 weight class). Box comes into the arena with Vesterinen Yhtyeineen - Kaikki päättyy hyvin blaring out of the sound system. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Chubby Funster was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Digi Box!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chubby Funster!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Box scores with a nice strike.
Box smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Box lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Box seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Box lands a jab to the nose.
Funster has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Box tests Funster's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Box moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A big left from Box misses.
Box with a hook.
Digi Box seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Funster moves into the clinch.
Funster lands an uppercut.
Funster throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Boxs head.
Box manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Box is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Funster is aware though and is defending well.
Funster trying to control but Box is working from the bottom.
Box can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Funster controls the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Funster is continuing to stall.
Funster wants to pass the guard but Box is keeping the position.
Funster drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Funster jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Funster slips nicely into half guard.
Funster wants to pass the guard but Box is defending well.
Funster seems to be working for a kimura but Box defends the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Funster prevents Box from improving his position.
Funster is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Box sees it coming and defends easily.
Funster seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Box is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Chubby Funster!
Chubby Funster decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
