Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Fda (ranked 2292 p4p, 272 weight class) and Sea Level Cain (ranked 2994 p4p, 347 weight class). Fda comes to the cage accompanied by Hate Me Now. Chris Fda has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Fda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
26 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sea Level Cain! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Phil Schofield and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fda pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cain gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fda to score an easy takedown into full guard. Fda looking to pass the guard. Cain is adopting a defensive guard. We've been hearing that Fda has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Fda avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fda is fighting to break Cain's control of his arms but Cain is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fda trying to control but Cain is working from the bottom. Cain is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cain trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Cain controls Fda momentarily but Fda frees himself. Fda sitting in guard here, content to control. Cain controls Fda momentarily but Fda frees himself. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cain gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Fda lands a jab to the head.
Cain throws a nice looking combination but Fda bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Fda throws a wild body kick that Cain sees coming a mile off. Cain misses with a low kick.
Fda misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fda uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cain has time to react. Cain has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Cain checks a low kick from Fda. Fda throws an overhand right that lands on Cain's shoulder, as Cain tries to avoid the shot. Cain displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fda throws out the jab. Cain bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Cain moves forwards but Fda connects with a nice, crisp jab. Cain shoots in but no luck this time. Fda uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cain has time to react. This has been an exciting period of action! Fda is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cain. Fda lands with a nice body punch. Cain throws a shot from downtown. Fda moves away and avoids it. Fda misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Cain pivots, looking for a leg kick but Fda is out of range and Cain settles back down. Cain throws a right hand that misses
and Fda counters with a stiff right hand. Fda lands with a cross.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cain throws a sloppy head kick and Fda moves out of range easily. Fda attempts a counter takedown but Cain avoids it well and moves away. Sea Level Cain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cain misses with a looping left. Cain shoots in looking for a takedown. Fda tries to sprawl out of it but Cain keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fda manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Cain swings away with a leg kick that misses. Fda lands with a thumping leg kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Fda, as that shot connected.
Cain jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Fda ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Cain pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A jab from Fda finds it's way through Cain's defenses. Cain closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fda circles away. Chris Fda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sea Level Cain. Cain is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fda sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Cain tries a head kick but it misses.
Fda gets caught napping as Cain dives in and scores a takedown. Fda manages to retain guard. Cain looks winded! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fda is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cain is aware though and is defending well. Cain trying to control but Fda is working from the bottom.

Fda controls from within his opponent's guard. Cain pulls Fda in close to his closed guard and prevents Fda from doing any damage or advancing position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cain walks into a stiff left hand from Fda. Some bone on bone action there as Fda checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Cain lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Cain throws a body kick that misses. A little feinted left hand from Fda on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Cain thows a leg kick but Fda checks it and Fda counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Cain! Fda wants to control but Cain is keeping him busy. Fda tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fda has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Both fighters take a look at the clock. Cain is not content to let Fda control the position.

You can see the frustration on Cain's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Chris Fda overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Fda goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Cain has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Fda but great work by Cain. Fda tries to bench press Cain off him but Cain keeps the position. Cain controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cain wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Fda, who protects the arm well. Cain in side control, just content to control the action for now. Fda holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Fda gets back to half guard. Fda is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Cain can do to turn this around?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cain tries to stand and escape but Fda is controlling the position. Cain trying to mount his opponent but Fda defends it. Cain is nestled in close to Fda, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Fda is staying active underneath Cain, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Cain thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Fda won't allow Cain to pass to mount. Fda looking for submissions off his back. Cain wants to advance to full mount but Fda doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fda working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cain doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cain manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Cain controls from within his opponent's guard. Cain trying to control the position from guard on top but Fda is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Cain lands a big head kick that sends Fda tumbling to the mat! Cain takes a step backwards and waves Fda back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Fda is rocked! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sea Level Cain showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Fda's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Fda connects with an inside leg kick. Good leg kick by Fda there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Cain moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Cain gets cracked there but stands up to it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters circling a little - Cain finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. A telegraphed right hand from Fda misses the target. Fda checks a leg kick. Cain misses with a straight left. Fda keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Cain lets loose with a powerful body kick. Fda will feel that in the morning. Cain takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Cain throws a head kick but Fda moves out of range.
Fda closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cain did well to prevent Fda getting side control. Fda is trying to work for a kimura but Cain is defending well.

Cain is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fda looking for a kimura from the bottom but Cain passes into side control! Fda sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Fda tries to roll over but Cain keeps him under control. Cain wants to pass to mount but Fda is defending the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cain wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fda keeps working. Fda is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cain pulls his head out easily. Cain wants to control but Fda is keeping him busy. Cain scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The fighters are battling for position here. Fda manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Fda looking for a sweep. Not yet Fda, not yet.
