Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Blessing Manwaring (ranked 4586 p4p, 459 weight class) and Abner Hill (ranked 4597 p4p, 462 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manwaring stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Manwaring closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Manwaring could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hill throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.

Hill tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Manwaring wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Manwaring decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Hill lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
