Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kidney Stone (ranked 2376 p4p, 231 weight class) and Mini Stipe (ranked 3488 p4p, 306 weight class). Stone kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Pour Some Sugar On Me by Def Leppord. Kidney Stone is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stipe throws a series of punches but Stone avoids them all with ease.
Stipe swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Stone looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Stone bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Stipe lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Stone at a distance.
Stone throws a low kick but Stipe avoids it.

Stone slips under a jab from Stipe.
Stipe scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Stipe throws a leg kick that is checked
and Stone counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Stone.
Stipe throws a leg kick which misses Stone's front leg but catches the back leg as Stone tries to avoid it.
Stipe is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stone.

Stipe takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Stone.
Stone throws a leg kick but Stipe sees it coming and moves out of range.
Stipe takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

A clash of legs there as Stone blocks the low kick.
Stone throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Stipe's head.

It looks like Mini Stipe has been cut.
Stone uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Stipe.

Stone was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Stipe wants to land a leg kick but Stone is out of range.
Stone stuffs the takedown attempt from Stipe. Stipe gets slowly back to his feet.

Stipe lands a nice hook to Stone's body. Stone takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

As Stone backs off Stipe throws a huge counter combo but Stone manages to avoid it all.

Stone throws a push kick but Stipe slaps the foot to one side.

Stipe throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stone drops his hands momentarily and Stipe takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
A bone on bone clash there as Stipe blocks the leg kick.
Stipe throws out a counter right but Stone avoids it with no problem.
Stipe ducks under a wild hook from Stone.
Nice uppercut lands for Stipe. That snapped Stone's head back.
Stipe throws a combination that misses
and Stone counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Stipe misses with a series of wild punches.
Stipe on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Stone fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

and Stipe decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stone's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Stipe drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Stone manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Stipe has Stone in his guard.

Stone won't allow Stipe to sweep him here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Kidney Stone will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Stipe throws a left and a right that both miss
and Stone counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Stone ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stipe moves away.
Stipe tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Stone manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Stipe has his takedown stuffed
and Stipe takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A telegraphed right hand from Stipe misses the target.
A little feinted left hand from Stone on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Stipe lands with an overhand left.
Stone is looking to score with low kicks.
Stipe looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stone is fending him off so far but Stipe persists. Nope, Stone circles away and we're back to standing.

Stone looks to throw the jab but Stipe is out of range.
A little jabbing left from Stipe on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stipe throws a low kick but Stone avoids it.

Stone moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Stone leaves Stipe with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kidney Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mini Stipe.
