Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rory Quincy (ranked 23734 p4p, 450 weight class) and Chuck Abbot (ranked 24390 p4p, 449 weight class). Chuck Abbot is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rory Quincy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Chuck Abbot! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quincy moves into the clinch. A nice right hand lands inside from Quincy. Quincy throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Abbots head. Abbot has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. With the fighters up against the cage, Quincy throws an elbow but misses. Quincy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Quincy gets a clinch. Quincy lands a body shot. Quincy lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Abbot backwards. The referee calls for Quincy to work.
Quincy stalls. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Quincy tries to circle away but Abbot has him pinned against the cage. Quincy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Abbot has him pressed against the cage. Abbot looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Quincy lands a hook that snaps the head of Abbot backwards. Quincy lands with a right to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quincy lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Abbot backwards. Abbot tries to pull guard but Quincy won't allow it.
Abbot has Quincy pressed against the cage, preventing Quincy from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Abbot tries to pull guard but Quincy holds him up against the cage and eventually Abbot drops back down to his feet.

Quincy stalling.
Quincy gets through Abbot's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Quincy lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Abbot backwards. Abbot doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Quincy is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Quincy lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Abbot or not. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A right hand to the body from Quincy.
Abbot looks winded! Quincy stalls. Quincy scores with a shot to the side of Abbot's head. Quincy lands a body shot. A right hook to the body lands for Quincy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quincy has had enough of the clinch but Abbot keeps him there for the moment. A short uppercut from Quincy. Quincy lands a shoulder strike. Quincy effectively controlling the action here. Quincy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Quincy takes the fight into the clinch. Quincy using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Abbot has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Quincy pushes Abbot back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Quincy lands a right hand that snaps the head of Abbot backwards. Quincy lands a hook to the side of the head.
Abbot is rocked! Quincy throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Abbots head. Abbot is still on wobbly legs! Can Quincy finish him? Quincy stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Quincy lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Abbot to his knees! Quincy keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
