Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kooz Wahrr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mukinio Tambua! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wahrr slaps away a takedown attempt from Tambua, before circling back to the center of the mat. Wahrr changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Tambua throws the left hand but Wahrr avoids the punch easily. Wahrr appears to be looking for a counter takedown. A lazy left from Tambua finds it's target.
It looks like Kooz Wahrr has been cut. Tambua feints and as Wahrr raises his hands in defense, Tambua changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Wahrr wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Tambua is now in half guard. Wahrr is trying to control but can't.
Wahrr is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Tambua is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tambua is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Wahrr sees it coming and defends easily. Wahrr wants to improve his position but Tambua is controlling well.

Tambua is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Wahrr is just riding it out for now. Tambua eventually gives up the hold. Wahrr trying to get back to full guard but Tambua takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Wahrr is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Tambua pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Wahrr is trying to escape the mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wahrr wants to control but Tambua is having none of it. Tambua looking to finish with strikes here!
Wahrr tries to reverse the position but Tambua maintains control. Wahrr tries to hold on but Tambua pushes him away. Wahrr holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Tambua tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Tambua has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Wahrr is trying desperately to improve position. Tambua working for a guillotine from mount but Wahrr is in no mood to give up. Wahrr really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wahrr taking shots to the head.
Kooz Wahrr's cut is getting worse. Tambua throws some wild stikes that Wahrr manages to avoid easily.
Tambua avoids the attempt from Wahrr to control. Wahrr takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Kooz Wahrr's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kooz Wahrr's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
