Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eoin McGrath (ranked 4586 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darius English (ranked 4585 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGrath fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but English avoids it really well and circles away.

English bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in McGrath's guard.

English has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of McGrath is proving hard to escape from.
McGrath looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

English pulls out of a head kick attempt.
English shoots in but McGrath avoids the takedown attempt easily.

McGrath rushes English and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
McGrath has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by English after a bit of a struggle.
McGrath is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

English tries to work over McGrath's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

McGrath tries to close the distance and clinch but English swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

McGrath lands an elbow just above English 's eye.

English lands a takedown into guard.
Eoin McGrath has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Darius English is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
McGrath will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
