Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andy Bangsit (ranked 518 p4p, 74 weight class) and Spencer Rubenstein (ranked 458 p4p, 61 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 22 - 2, fighting out of London, Andy Bangsit! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Spencer Rubenstein! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bangsit ducks under a wild hook from Rubenstein. Rubenstein pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Bangsit slips a straight right by Rubenstein. Bangsit appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Rubenstein scores with a hook. Bangsit fails with the takedown and Rubenstein connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rubenstein misses with a hook. Bangsit ducked under it nicely. Bangsit wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Rubenstein pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bangsit will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bangsit looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Bangsit is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rubenstein sees it coming and defends easily. Bangsit not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Bangsit seems to be looking for submissions.
Rubenstein tries to kick Bangsit off but Bangsit keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Bangsit is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rubenstein is just riding it out for now. Bangsit eventually gives up the hold. Rubenstein kicks off Bangsit and gets to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bangsit fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bangsit walks into a stiff left hand from Rubenstein. Rubenstein throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bangsit sees it coming and avoids it easily. Bangsit is looking to take this fight into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Spencer Rubenstein dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Rubenstein misses with a kick to the body and Bangsit decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rubenstein's guard. Bangsit throws a big right hand that misses. Bangsit advances position into side control! Bangsit tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Sloppy strikes there by Bangsit. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bangsit is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rubenstein knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Bangsit looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Rubenstein is avoiding damage well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bangsit is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Rubenstein is trying to escape and Bangsit transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Rubenstein is forced to tap! Nice work there by Bangsit! Very nice indeed!
