Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zack Wave (ranked 4304 p4p, 357 weight class) and Inagawa Kai (ranked 4472 p4p, 0 weight class). Inagawa Kai will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kai rushes Wave and presses him up against the cage.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Wave.
Kai tries to pull guard but Wave forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Wave throws a knee to the head but misses.
Kai jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wave walks away with a smile on his face. Kai gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Kai drives through and clinches with Wave against the cage.
Kai fails to pull guard.
Zack Wave has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Inagawa Kai.
Kai is trying to pull guard but Wave turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Wave obliges.

Wave turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Wave manages to end up in side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kai tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wave wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Wave connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Kai some visible discomfort.

Wave creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Check out the look on Wave's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Wave seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Wave lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Kai is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Wave pulls his head out easily.

Kai has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Wave doesn't defend quickly enough and Kai has managed to lock this one up! Can Wave escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Kai on a fantastic submission victory.

Inagawa Kai spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
