Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tourney Guy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Sparrow!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Anthony Taglia and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparrow fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Guy is looking to counter punch.
Sparrow tries for a takedown but Guy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Guy tries to clinch but Sparrow is having none of it.
Guy has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Sparrow circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sparrow looks for a takedown but Guy sprawls well.
Tourney Guy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Sparrow.
Sparrow doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Guy counters with a straight right hand.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sparrow is defended easily by Guy.
Guy swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Guy swings for the body but Sparrow moves out of range.

Sparrow shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Guy napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sparrow landing strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sparrow fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Sparrow tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Sparrow throws a strike aimed at the side of Guy's head but Guy avoids it well.
Sparrow throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Sparrow is working to tighten his grip on Guy's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Guy has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Sparrow is really squeezing tight and eventually Guy passes out! Sparrow breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Jack Sparrow!
During a confident post fight interview, Jack Sparrow thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
