The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dentist fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dentist scores with a nice head shot.
Laaksonen lands a jab to the head.

It looks like Jerry Laaksonen has been cut.
Tony Dentist seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dentist wants to clinch up but Laaksonen keeps it at a distance.
Dentist scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Dentist takes one on the chin but seems OK.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Laaksonen looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Laaksonen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dentist.
Laaksonen misses with a two punch combination.
Dentist bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Laaksonen's head.

and Dentist counters with a crisp right hand that drops Laaksonen! Dentist lets Laaksonen back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Laaksonen is rocked!
Dentist throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Oh Laaksonen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A head kick misses from Laaksonen.
Laaksonen seems to have got his legs back now.
Dentist walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Dentist throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Laaksonen sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Laaksonen throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Laaksonen swats away the attempt to clinch by Dentist.
A quick step to the side and Laaksonen tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Dentist rushes Laaksonen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Laaksonen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Laaksonen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dentist sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Dentist lands with a nice combination. Laaksonen backs away looking to recover.
Laaksonen throws a jab when Dentist was well out of range.
Dentist swings for the body but Laaksonen moves out of range.
Dentist misses with a wild body shot.
Laaksonen misses with a head kick.
Laaksonen takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dentist forces Laaksonen back against the cage and clinches.

Dentist digs a good hook to Laaksonen's body.
Dentist moves out of range of the strikes.
Dentist throws out a counter right but Laaksonen avoids it with no problem.
Dentist slips a straight right by Laaksonen.
Laaksonen connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dentist momentarily.

and Laaksonen counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
