Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Akihiro Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mart Mono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mono has chosen Roots rock Reggae as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akihiro Aoki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mart Mono! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mono fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mono stuffs the takedown attempt from Aoki. Aoki gets slowly back to his feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Mono looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aoki closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Aoki lands in his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mono escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Aoki gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Aoki seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aoki is working for a submission of some sort.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mono tries to get to full guard but Aoki has control of the leg. Aoki is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Aoki is trying to control the action in half guard but Mono is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Aoki is breathing heavily. Aoki is working for a kimura but Mono is defending it quite comfortably.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Well, if Aoki is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Aoki is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mono sees it coming and defends easily. Mono tries to roll over but Aoki keeps him under control. Aoki is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Mono has managed to free his arm - good work. Mono is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Aoki pulls his head out easily. Aoki looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Akihiro Aoki dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Mono on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Aoki. Aoki obviously looking to wear him down.
Mono takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Aoki is trying to drag Mono to the mat but Mono just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aoki drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Akihiro Aoki. That's going to take a lot out of him. Aoki tries for a takedown but Mono manages to get underhooks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Aoki is trying to drag Mono to the mat but Mono just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Aoki has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Mono avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mono lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Aoki backwards.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Mart Mono. I think Aoki has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
