Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Rothco (ranked 2505 p4p, 297 weight class) and Francis Begbie (ranked 2374 p4p, 281 weight class). Begbie comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Raining Blood kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Frank Rothco could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Francis Begbie's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Frank Rothco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Francis Begbie!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rothco bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Begbie's head backwards.
Rothco takes a swing at Begbie's ribcage but misses.
Begbie moves in looking to clinch but Rothco pushes him off.
A quick step to the side and Rothco tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
The fighters circling - Begbie throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Rothco misses with a hook.
Begbie replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Rothco blocks it well.
Rothco swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Begbie tries to clinch up but Rothco circles away and keeps his distance.
Begbie throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rothco looks for the body kick but Begbie saw that one coming.
Rothco scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Rothco throws a low kick but it's checked well by Begbie.
Rothco scores with a jab to the body.
Begbie takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Begbie gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Begbie is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rothco tries a head kick but it misses.
Begbie is still on wobbly legs! Can Rothco finish him?
Rothco feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Begbie's calf.
Begbie seems to have recovered his senses.
Begbie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rothco.
Rothco swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Begbie tries to counter by closing the distance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Begbie manages to break the clinch.
Rothco lands with a shot to the body.
Rothco fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Begbie tries to clinch
and Rothco counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Rothco throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Begbie appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Rothco connects with a good right hand that stumbles Begbie. Begbie circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Rothco is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Begbie.
Rothco uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Begbie has time to react.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Begbie closes the distance and clinches.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Rothco.
Rothco misses with a body punch.
Rothco working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Begbie tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rothco smiles and moves away.
Rothco knocks out Begbie with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Rothco before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Rothco picks up the big W with a huge KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Frank Rothco!
After the fight, Frank Rothco was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
In defeat, Francis Begbie stepped up to the mic, saying 'Bollocks'.
