Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Barney Rumble (ranked 4025 p4p, 114 weight class) and Mousa Dembele (ranked 3034 p4p, 85 weight class). Rumble comes into the arena with Queens of the Stone Age - My God is the Sun blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mousa Dembele!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rumble misses with a straight right.
Dembele swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A nice inside leg kick there by Rumble. That's going to slow Dembele down.
Rumble on the wrong end of a nice jab.
It looks like Barney Rumble has been cut.
Rumble tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dembele swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dembele appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
A head kick misses from Rumble.
Rumble throws a sloppy head kick
and Dembele cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rumble lands with a cross.
Rumble slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Dembele throws a body punch but Rumble moves out of range.
Rumble tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Dembele manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dembele lands a glancing blow to the side of Rumble's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rumble throws the kick towards the body but Dembele avoids it.
Dembele throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Dembele uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rumble.

Dembele throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Rumble looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Rumble looks to land a left hand but Dembele moved out of range nicely.
Dembele ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rumble moves away.
Dembele throws a leg kick but Rumble sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Dembele has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

and Rumble counters with a slapping leg kick.

Dembele pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Rumble back to the ropes. Dembele follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Dembele might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Rumble closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Dembele throws a nice looking combination but Rumble bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Dembele's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Rumble connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dembele scrambles back to his feet.

Rumble throws a nice outside leg kick.
Dembele on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Dembele throws a jab but it's blocked by Rumble.
Rumble fires out a quick counter leg kick but Dembele just manages to avoid it.

A telegraphed right hand from Dembele misses the target.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mousa Dembele will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Barney Rumble's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Dembele sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Rumble looks to score with a jab to the body but Dembele is just out of range.
Rumble thows a body kick. Dembele tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Rumble scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dembele doesn't seem bothered though.
Rumble connects with a leg kick. Dembele looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Mousa Dembele seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dembele throws the left hand but Rumble avoids the punch easily.
Rumble thuds his right hand into Dembele's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
It looks like Mousa Dembele has been cut.

Rumble throws out a leg kick but Dembele moves out of range and Rumble only half commits.
Barney Rumble is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rumble throws out a powerful jab.
Dembele is rocked!
Rumble feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Dembele collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
