Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bryant Smith (ranked 1818 p4p, 209 weight class) and Lynton Miller (ranked 1300 p4p, 152 weight class). Smith kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Television - Marquee Moon. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lynton Miller!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Roberts and Jorge Garcia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Smith counters with a one-two to the body.
Lynton Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Miller throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Smith.
Miller rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Smith counters with a right hand to the body.
Miller lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Smith circles away quickly and effectively.
Smith digs a good body shot into Miller's ribs.
Smith uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

It looks like Lynton Miller has been cut.
Miller shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Smith as he avoids it easily.
Smith half committed to a counter leg kick.
A combination from Smith does no damage.
A looping hook to the body misses from Smith. Miller does a little dance to reset his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smith defending well as Miller loads up on a big left hand.
Miller swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Smith.
Smith definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Miller lands a jab to the head.
Miller misses with a wild body shot.
Miller works the jab nicely.

Smith wants to control but Miller postures up.
Smith is looking for a sweep.

Miller lands with a punch from half guard.
Miller drops an elbow to the side of Smith's head.
Miller has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Smith wants to control but Miller is keeping busy.
Miller working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Miller seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Miller slips a nice elbow through Smith's hands, connecting with Smith's forehead.
Smith wants to control but Miller is keeping busy.
The fighters are battling for position here. Smith manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Miller scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Miller cracks Smith with a solid left hand.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Miller is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Miller keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Smith's head.

Smith is rocked!
Miller loads up on a big left hand. Smith felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Miller looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Smith can't hide his disappointment, as Miller celebrates the victory.

A less than humble Lynton Miller misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
