Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Remy Valentine (ranked 84 p4p, 9 weight class) and Rick Piano (ranked 137 p4p, 16 weight class). Valentine comes to the cage accompanied by Man with the Harmonica by Ennio Morricone. Piano has chosen Rick going ham on a bitch as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piano throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Valentine checks the leg kick nicely there.
Valentine takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Piano throws an off balance right hand
and Valentine counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Piano swings for the body but Valentine moves out of range.
Piano scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Piano wants to land a leg kick but Valentine is out of range.
Piano lands with a hook. Valentine tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Piano moves out of range as Valentine strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A jab from Piano finds it's way through Valentine's defenses.
Piano misses with a hook.
Piano throws an overhand right that drops Valentine like a sack of potatoes! Piano dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rick Piano !
Rick Piano is the new heavyweight champion!
Rick Piano was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
