Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Meso Horne (ranked 6694 p4p, 163 weight class) and Nikhil Remao (ranked 6658 p4p, 162 weight class). Nikhil Remao is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Remao tries to clinch up.

Remao tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Horne manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Remao shoots in but no luck this time.
It looked like Horne was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Horne closes this distance looking for a takedown but Remao circles away.

Remao has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Horne has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Remao sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Remao has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Horne off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Horne throws a low kick, looking for Remao's leg but Remao calmly moves out of range.
Horne tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Remao manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Horne keeps the fight on the outside.
Remao tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Horne defends well and Remao ends up having to push Horne into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Remao changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Horne pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Remao looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Remao gets a takedown into half guard.
Horne has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Remao is on him like a limpet, forcing Horne back against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Remao jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Horne walks away with a smile on his face. Remao gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Horne takes a swing at Remao's ribcage but misses.
Remao tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Horne shoots in looking for a takedown. Remao tries to sprawl out of it but Horne keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Remao manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Horne slaps away a takedown attempt from Remao, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Meso Horne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nikhil Remao.

Remao has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Horne uses from the top position.
Horne really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Remao is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Horne jumps into side control!

Horne will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

As Remao looks to move away, Horne throws a big counter combo but Remao just gets out of the way.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Remao goes for a double leg but Horne avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Horne continues to drive forward.

Horne throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Remao has his hands clasped together but Horne breaks the hold and Remao is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Horne!
