Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nikhil Remao (ranked 24187 p4p, 160 weight class) and Roman Agus (ranked 24188 p4p, 181 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nikhil Remao! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Roman Agus! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Remao fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Agus drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Remao defends it well. Agus misses with a hook. Remao drops down looking for a counter takedown but Agus sprawls and moves away. Horrible takedown attempt by Remao or perhaps it was just good defense by Agus, which made it look bad. Agus stuffs the takedown attempt from Remao. Remao gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nikhil Remao. That's going to take a lot out of him. Agus displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Remao. Remao changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Agus tries to avoid it but Remao manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Agus to the ground. Agus escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Agus scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Agus shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Remao but Remao pushes him off and we're back to square one. A head kick by Remao misses and Agus counters with a nice body kick. Agus looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Remao throws a series of punches but Agus moves out of range. Agus tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Remao defends well and Agus ends up having to push Remao into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Remao throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Agus leaves Remao with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Agus closes this distance looking for a takedown but Remao circles away. Remao throws a leg kick but Agus sees it coming and checks it nicely. Agus has Remao up against the cage in a clinch.
Agus pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. No luck for Remao with that takedown attempt. Remao fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Agus shoots for a takedown but Remao saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Agus clinches with his opponent.
Remao wants to get back to striking at distance but Agus won't allow it.
Agus stops a takedown attempt from Remao.
Agus ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Agus no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Agus pulls Remao in to control the position. Remao slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Remao drops back, looking for a kneebar! Agus looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Agus looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Agus!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Agus controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Remao tries to improve position but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Agus working the ground and pound but Remao is defending the strikes. Remao is trying to improve his position. Agus scoring with punches from side control. Remao on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Remao tries to get out of the position. Agus throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Remao gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Remao really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Agus sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Remao is wriggling around trying to escape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Agus controlling from the full mount. Agus postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Remao looks a forlorn figure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roman Agus dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Agus closes the distance looking to clinch and Remao counters with a series of strikes. Agus will be more careful next time no doubt. Agus closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Agus has Remao pressed against the cage, preventing Remao from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Agus swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A frustrated look appears on Remao's face as he tries to break the clinch. Agus avoids a wild elbow strike from Remao. Remao gets underhooks to prevent Agus's takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Agus manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Agus trying to control the position here. Agus has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Remao pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Agus is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Agus bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Remao's guard. Agus throws a big elbow that misses. Agus gets to his feet. Remao looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Remao. Remao darts in looking for a takedown but Agus gets double underhooks and turns Remao into the cage. Agus moves into range and connects with a jab. Agus darts in and clinches Remao up against the cage. Agus has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Remao avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Agus manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Agus is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Agus tries to land a sweep but no joy. Remao trying to control but Agus is working from the bottom. Agus wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Agus has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Remao can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Agus keeping full guard, as Remao tries to pass.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Remao has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Agus to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Remao is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Agus pulls down on the head and he's put Remao to sleep! This one is all over!
