Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Suman Giovanni (ranked 6099 p4p, 155 weight class) and Aleksi Takala (ranked 5493 p4p, 138 weight class). Takala has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giovanni shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Giovanni's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Giovanni stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Takala goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Takala jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Giovanni keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Takala. Giovanni does a little dance to reset his feet.
Takala swings widly with a right hand
and Giovanni decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Takala's guard.
Takala looks winded!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Giovanni not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Giovanni throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Takala works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Giovanni seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Takala for as long as he can get away with.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Takala throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Giovanni counters with a three punch combo that has Takala backing up. Takala nods at Giovanni to acknowledge the strikes.
Giovanni darts in and clinches Takala up against the cage.
Takala lands a left hand.
Takala stalling in the clinch but Giovanni improves position.
Takala tries a body shot but Giovanni blocks it.
Takala looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Giovanni has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Takala uses from the top position.

Giovanni wants to sweep but no luck.
Giovanni will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Giovanni throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Giovanni striking off his back but it's not causing Takala any problems.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Takala wants to control from the top but Giovanni keeps moving.
Takala wanted to stand there but Giovanni had control of the position.
Giovanni could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Takala wants to stand but Giovanni has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Giovanni wants to sweep here but Takala controlling him for the moment.
Giovanni looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Takala is defending well. Giovanni quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Takala has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Giovanni celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
