Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lehel Bartasz (ranked 6336 p4p, 159 weight class) and Ewart Soso (ranked 6102 p4p, 156 weight class). Bartasz comes to the cage accompanied by Manowar.... Ewart Soso has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lehel Bartasz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ewart Soso! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soso throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Lehel Bartasz has been cut. Soso misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bartasz.
Bartasz tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Soso manages to circle out of the way. Soso closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Soso is thwarting Bartasz's attempts to control the position. Bartasz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bartasz trying to control from the bottom.
Soso controlling the action here. Soso is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Bartasz! Bartasz tries to hold on but Soso pushes him away. Soso looking to ground and pound but Bartasz is blocking nicely.

Bartasz has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Soso looking to finish with strikes here!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Soso biding his time, looking for the opening.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Bartasz's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Soso is looking to control Bartasz but Bartasz is wriggling around and keeping busy. Bartasz trying to control the action but Soso just sinks the hooks in. I really don't envy Bartasz right now.

Ewart Soso dominated that round. The cut man is working on Lehel Bartasz's cut. That's time! Bartasz's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Soso closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bartasz sneaks out the side door and pushes Soso away - he's back to his feet. Bartasz is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Soso has just dragged him back down to the mat. Bartasz prevents Soso from improving position. Bartasz tries to buck Soso off but Soso is having none of it. An elbow from Soso crashes against the mat.

Soso is trying to ground and pound but Bartasz uses the momentary lack of control by Soso to regain half guard. Ewart Soso has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Soso wants to advance to full mount but Bartasz doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Soso got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bartasz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Soso has managed to get both his arms back between Bartasz's legs - danger averted. Bartasz is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Soso throwing strikes but missing. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Soso accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bartasz wants to control but Soso passes easily into half guard.
Soso is keen to just control but Bartasz is a slippery customer. Bartasz wants to control but Soso is keeping busy.
Soso not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Bartasz trying to hold on to Soso's head to control him but Soso postures up.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Soso has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Soso pushes Bartasz away with a front kick. Bartasz misses with a takedown and Soso counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Soso stuffs the takedown attempt from Bartasz. Bartasz gets slowly back to his feet. Soso shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Soso showed some decent athleticism there. Bartasz has one foot on Soso's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Soso circles away from the clinch attempt.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Soso - that will leave a mark!
Soso goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bartasz tries to clinch up. Soso scores with a three punch combo!

Bartasz is rocked! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Soso wants to control but Bartasz is keeping him busy. Soso stands up and beckons Bartasz to his feet. Bartasz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Soso as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lehel Bartasz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Soso pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Bartasz back to the cage. Soso follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ewart Soso showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Lehel Bartasz's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Soso scores with a punch to the head. Ewart Soso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A head kick misses from Soso. Bartasz looks for a takedown but Soso sprawls well. Soso wants to counter with a clinch but Bartasz pushes him away. Soso throws a leg kick which misses Bartasz's front leg but catches the back leg as Bartasz tries to avoid it. Soso avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Soso is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No luck with that takedown attempt from Bartasz. Soso looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Bartasz doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling Soso to counter with a crisp jab. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lehel Bartasz. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Left hook, right uppercut from Soso. Oooooh!!! Soso has knocked Bartasz down with a huge combo! Soso steps away and waves a wobbly Bartasz back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Oh Bartasz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Lehel Bartasz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Soso dives in and scores a takedown into Bartasz's guard. Bartasz wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Soso manages to pass to side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Bartasz is looking to improve his position.
Bartasz seems to have got his legs back now. Soso wants to pass the guard but Bartasz is defending well. Soso is looking to take a break and control but Bartasz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Soso looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Soso slows the pace down in half guard. Soso wants to pass the guard but Bartasz is defending well. Soso thows a huge punch but Bartasz dodges it nicely.
Bartasz has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Soso is working away from the top position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bartasz wants to control the action here but instead Soso manages to pass to full mount! Soso is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Bartasz has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Bartasz! Soso wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Bartasz postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Bartasz avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

And that's the end of the fight! Ewart Soso comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Soso has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
