Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bronson Komaroff (ranked 5149 p4p, 382 weight class) and Abunazir Kindzal (ranked 5305 p4p, 388 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bronson Komaroff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Abunazir Kindzal!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kindzal looking to score a takedown here. Komaroff is defending well but Kindzal drives through and ends up in Komaroff's guard.
Komaroff is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kindzal is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Kindzal avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Kindzal really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Komaroff. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kindzal seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Let's hope that Kindzal has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Kindzal.

Komaroff had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kindzal defends it easily.

Komaroff has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kindzal can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Komaroff looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Kindzal has picked Komaroff up and slammed him! Komaroff can't keep hold of the triangle and Kindzal manages to pass to side control!

Komaroff is looking for a sweep.

Kindzal tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Komaroff wants to control but Kindzal postures up.

Kindzal looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Komaroff tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kindzal wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Komaroff really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kindzal lands a nice shot to the head.
Kindzal is trying to take his opponent's back.

Komaroff tries to improve his position but instead Kindzal has taken his back!
Komaroff is really stuck here.

Komaroff is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
What can Komaroff do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Komaroff is in bad spot here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kindzal really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Komaroff.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Abunazir Kindzal dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Komaroff misses with a takedown

and Kindzal counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Komaroff takes a knee to the side of the body.

Kindzal has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Komaroff is trying to keep an underhook but Kindzal manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Kindzal has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Kindzal is working for a kimura but Komaroff is defending it quite comfortably.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kindzal is taking a breather. Komaroff says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Abunazir Kindzal has got the better of the ground game so far.

Komaroff is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kindzal pulls his head out easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kindzal takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Kindzal passes the guard and advances to mount!

Komaroff tries to reverse the position but Kindzal maintains control.

Kindzal takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Komaroff tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Kindzal looking to finish Komaroff with some ground and pound. This is bad for Komaroff!
Kindzal lands a big elbow.
Komaroff is desperately trying to improve his position but Kindzal has a good base and remains in mount.

Kindzal throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Komaroff has his hands clasped together but Kindzal breaks the hold and Komaroff is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Kindzal!
