Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Rebenta (ranked 2533 p4p, 293 weight class) and Sebastian Halstenberg (ranked 2610 p4p, 301 weight class). Halstenberg has chosen Bring Me The Horizon - Can You Feel My Heart as his entrance music. Sebastian Halstenberg has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricardo Rebenta! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sebastian Halstenberg! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rebenta closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Halstenberg did well to prevent Rebenta getting side control. Halstenberg is refusing to be controlled, as Rebenta sits in half guard. Rebenta seems to be working for a kimura but Halstenberg defends the submission attempt. Rebenta is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Rebenta winds up and cracks Halstenberg with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Rebenta is working for a submission of some sort.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rebenta is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's one minute gone in the round. Halstenberg pushes Rebenta off looking to stand but Rebenta dives back in and keeps control.
Rebenta is trying to control the action in half guard but Halstenberg is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Halstenberg can do anything to dispel that myth. Rebenta throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Rebenta performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Rebenta is looking for a kimura here.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rebenta connects with a nice short shot to Halstenberg's temple. Halstenberg is not content to let Rebenta control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rebenta is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Halstenberg is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
